Rabbi Dovid Orlofsky – Why is the Mishkan here is the story of the book in the Torah of Shemot (Exodus)? We already left Egypt and received the Torah. The holiness of the getting the Torah travels with us throughout our journey until finally resulting the building on the permanent Beis Hamikdash in Jerusalem accompanying us on each stop along the way. Hashem’s presence from the liberation from Egypt and each step along the way are part of the same Exodus and that’s why the Mishkan is in this book of the Torah.
