Rabbi David Aaron – Shares about Jewish guilt and how we can have the strength after regret to put our mistakes in Hashem’s hands. Our business is our business and Hashem’s business in not our business.
Michal Smith – Shares about how we can learn to forgive through proper processing of feelings and how we can look within the Torah for examples of how our holy ancestors did this as examples on how we can live today.
Rabbi Asher Baruch Wegbreit – Shares how we can counter-act the cause of the destruction of the Second Temple (Sinat Chinam – Baseless Hatred) and The Chofetz Chaim deducing that it’s really Lashon Hara (gossip). The main way to nip this before it manifests in your daily life is to judge others favorably – this helps circumvent lashaon hara and sinat chinam. Working on this really helps internalize the “Nine Days” and the antidote to reverse and bring the geula (redemption).
Rabbi Lazer Brody – Shares about how to view and deal with difficult situations by moving over and letting Hashem run the World. By remembering all the minute details on something close (like our eye) and some far or big (our galaxy) and how this is under the purview of Hashem we are in awe of how things are how they are. Awareness = Aweness.
Rabbi Jacobson – Within this video, Rav Jacobson, shares how important each one of us is in terms of Hashem’s master plan through the story of a simple painter who became a life saver that no one else could do at this time.
Rabbi Avi Wiesenfeld – The foundation core of all future human development is the habit of being proactive. Rabbi Wiesenfeld discusses the different between being proactive (being responsible for my reactions – the ability to respond) vs reactive (being controlled). Every person has a choice how we react.
Rabbi Dovid Orlofsky – Shares about the Torah view about how to find a job and the underlying reasons behind why. This information is really practical and has been presented in various forms across career sources but the emphasis on Torah values and Torah goals really adds to its relevance and validity more so than other sources. Why am I here? What is my purpose? Who am I? The focus on the career purpose as the means and not the end. So what are the ends? Listen and find out.
Rabbi David Aaron – Shares in this brief interview about how important our choices are but the results of those choices are in Hashem’s hands. We can take responsbility for our choices but not necessarily for the results. Even if things are going well its a good idea to still check in with someone (a mentor) because while you may be getting the results that you want you may still not be making the right choices. Most people base their choices based on the results rather than understand that the ultimate results are actually the integrity of your choices.
