Seventy Faces – Multiplying Words or Letters in a Word & Adding Two Words Together By Rabbi Avraham Arieh Trugman

Rabbi Avraham Arieh Trugman – Nice class on how when combining certain words in the Torah and their numerical equivalent the combination reflects the essence of the two separate words. For example, Isaac and Rebbeca combined numerically equals prayer (their Hebrew words – Yitzchak plus Rivka equals tefillah). This is because they both prayed for children together in the Torah. Another example is Yaakov plus Satan equals Yisroel. This comes from the story of when Yaakov wrestled with the angel before meeting his twin brother Esav in person the next day. Watch the video for other unique examples.
