These classes are geared for this time of the year as we approach the month of Elul and Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. In this class we discussed the Thirteen Principles of Faith of Maimonides and Nine Principles of Faith of Chassidut as taught by Rabbi Yitzchak Ginsburgh.
Rabbi Avraham Arieh Trugman – Rabbi Trugman starts a new mini-series about the Attributes of Compassion and Principles of Faith. This is geared for this time of the year as we approach the month of Elul and Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. In this class Rabbi Trugman introduces the idea of the Thirteen Attributes of Compassion as well as the less known Nine Attributes of Compassion and their important application to this time of the year.
Rabbi Yom Tov Glazer – Shares with us a more easily understood version of what the Ten Sefirot outlined in the teachings of the Kabbalah mean. Rabbi Glazer uses simple everyday examples to detail each Sefirah making it really easy to understand – making what it sometimes a complicated and esoteric topic more easily understood for the layman.
Rabbi Mendel Kessin – Really interested class on the Ramchal (in honor of his Yahrtzeit – day of his passing) and the Kabbalah that he taught that we reference today. He did this while being under pressure not to share Kabbalah.
