Finding Happiness I Rav David Yisrael Kalmus

Rabbi David Yisrael Kalmus – Shares about where we are going – the next World is pulling us there and where do we find this? Shabbos! All the painful things in our life are only painful because we forget where we are going. Once we remember where we are going (Shabbos) then the pain has a purpose. Also, Rabbi Kalmus talks about that we need to fear and need to love – its our choice what to fear and what to love.

Life is a Choice (Repost) By Rebbetzin Lori Palatnik

Rebbetzin Lori Palatnik teaches us how we view life’s challenges makes a huge difference in our happiness level and viewpoint. This very powerful lecture by the Rebbetzin teaches how to see each situation uniquely and for what it really is instead of something that it’s not. Really helps process the constant challenges that go on in day-to-day life and be empowered by them instead of constantly let down. Enjoy!

The Inherent Point of Good

Rabbi David Yisrael Kalmus – Nice motivational video on the inherent good in each one of us regardless of our circumstances and the destructive “Western thought” that is taking away that goodness. In reality there is no despair at all, just be happy! Being joyful always IS the solution.

Think Good and it Will Be Good

Rabbi David Yisrael Kalmus – In another live class in Eretz Yisroel, Rabbi Kalmus shares with us the ultimate solution to this generations constant battle with depression, sadness, lack of fulfillment, etc. It’s not a direct head-on approach to seek happiness – it’s to get closer to Hashem which will, in turn, result in that which we seek.

Personal Thoughts – Although there was some back and forth discussion with some of the talk’s participants which causes some distraction from the message try to stick with it as the message that is revealed is as profound as it is simple.

The Secret of Happiness

Rabbi David Yisrael Kalmus – shares how the key to connection with Hashem is through the mitzvot and how the physical is a reflection of the spiritual.

Personal Thoughts – This is a very deep lecture (although there are some distractions so keep that in mind when watching it). Sometimes when I can’t get any clarity while doing various mitvot it plain just confuses me – this video helped put some things together more concretely that everything is just part of a master plan. It was pretty deep so I needed to review it multiple times. Hope you enjoy it. In case you don’t want to watch the whole video, I’ve clipped out a few “!Short Clips!” from this lecture and posted them here – http://torah-share.com/short-clips/short-clips/ – and they are all dated “(13 Tevet 5781)”.
