Rabbi Avraham Zajac – This is a Short Clip video (less than four minutes) – explaining the interesting Halacha about why Jewish men wear a head covering (Yarmulke) at all times and a nice story of its great significance to one of our Sages.

Personal Thoughts – It’s great to learn the sources of why we as Jews do something – learning leads me to more learning and also to action. Shabbat Shalom!

Jewish Law (Halachah)

Introductory Overview to Studying Halachah (Jewish Law)

Rabbi Avraham Meyer Zajac – This video is a very clear explanation of the development and the codification of Jewish Law (Halachah) from the Torah to the beginning of Chabad (246 years ago).

https://www.chabad.org/3097754 (this video could not be embedded so this link takes you to the video on the Chabad.org website)

Personal Thoughts – I’ve been looking to start studying Halachah (Jewish Law) by learning two Halachot per day. However, my preferred method is to watch videos as I absorb the material better that way. However, looking around I don’t see much and certainly not much in an organized fashion. Rabbi Zajac and Chabad have a very organized video series methodology which shows also by how well this particular video presents the introduction. This viewpoint is the Halachah as expounded upon by the first Rebbe of Chabbad (the Alter Rebbe, R’ Schneur Zalman of Liadi). Please reach out if you have another video Halachah series presented in an orderly fashion (Torah-Share.com’s email is torahshareblog@gmail.com).

https://www.chabad.org/multimedia/video_cdo/aid/3167830/jewish/Shulchan-Aruch-Hashkomas-Haboker-19b.htm – listen towards the end as it relates to why we make Challot (bread) for Shabbat (and Holidays) the way we do.

The Miraculous End of Israel’s Worst Nemesis: Stories of the Ancient Kings of Israel

Rabbi Dovid Vigler of Chabad of Palm Beach Gardens – video about a miraculous military victory over the biggest army (of Sennacherib) in the World without a “shot” ever fired.

Personal Thoughts: Fascinating story of the power of righteousness and belief and trust in Hashem (King Hezekiah) overcoming “guaranteed” destruction of the Jewish people during the Second Temple Period. Taught me a lot about my own belief and trust in Hashem! Enjoy the story.
