Rabbi Asher Baruch Wegbreit – Nice short explanation of the purpose of the KLM Foundation and the goal each Jew should strive for to bring more meaning, purpose, and intent to their daily Jewish practices to get more connected to Hashem.
Rabbi Asher Baruch Wegbreit – Continues sharing how to increase our kavanah (spiritual intent) when doing mitzvot. He elaborates about the biggest obstacle to having kavanah (which presents us from a connection with Hashem) is rushing – this rushing tends to take us out of the present and into the future. Hashem is right here right now so by rushing we are “leaving” where Hashem is. Only by taking our time and having a settled mind can we capture that elusive kavanah. Much more content is in the video class.
Rabbi Mendel Kessin – Shares why over time there has been an increase of mitzvot, customs, and extras in those who practice authentic Jewish observance and how this spreads the spiritual light and brings down the presence of Hashem and the original reason the World was created.
Rabbi Asher Baruch Wegbreit – Shows us the simple path to doing the easy mitzva of mezuzah and how to get the most out of it. Not so much effort in the physical sense but instead making “intentional” effort in the mental sense yielding great benefits and those benefits can lead to a stronger spiritual connection to Hashem individually and collectively.
Two great podcasts where Rabbi Dr. Akiva Tatz shares with us how the World we leave in is designed with both male and female attributes on both a macro and micro level. This natural balance gives us a whole new perspective and how Torah and Mitzvot serve as the foundation of this paradigm.
Torah Cause of Reality – Written Torah
The second podcast is a bit early as it talks about Shavuot which is coming up in about a month and a half, but again the paradigm shift it reveals that Torah is not a reflection of what we see in this World, but that this World is a reflection/projection of the Torah itself (i.e. that Torah is the cause of reality).
Although these two videos are from the readings at the end of the Torah they still have some relevant ideas we can take into the post Chagim (Jewish Holidays) timeframe. Both present some valuable information to improve ourselves in this New (Jewish) Year. Our Sages emphasize for us to take what we learned during the Chagim (Jewish Holidays) and sprinkle those ideas throughout this upcoming Year so that what we learned is not only internalized but dispersed in practice through higher mitzvah observance and improved Midot (character traits).
Vezot HaBracha – Growing Through Deuteronomy (Rabbi Trugman):
Rabbi Asher Baruch Wegbreit – Shares great insight on how to deal with Tragedy in a positive productive way by changing how we behave.
Personal Thoughts – Lashon Hara (translated loosely as “evil speech”) is a tough nut to crack due to habit – this simple approach seems more doable then most other ways and can make a real change.
Rabbi David Yisrael Kalmus – shares how the key to connection with Hashem is through the mitzvot and how the physical is a reflection of the spiritual.
Personal Thoughts – This is a very deep lecture (although there are some distractions so keep that in mind when watching it). Sometimes when I can’t get any clarity while doing various mitvot it plain just confuses me – this video helped put some things together more concretely that everything is just part of a master plan. It was pretty deep so I needed to review it multiple times. Hope you enjoy it. In case you don’t want to watch the whole video, I’ve clipped out a few “!Short Clips!” from this lecture and posted them here – https://torah-share.com/short-clips/short-clips/ – and they are all dated “(13 Tevet 5781)”.
