Yoel Gold – Shares an amazing story that emphasizes daily giving. Giving tzedakah as a regular practice regardless of how much you have and how much you give (consistency is key) is the solution to many of life’s everyday problems. The more you give the more you get!
Rabbi David Yisrael Kalmus – Shares a very interested perspective about Tzedaka and the power it has to open doors to many things in our lives. This is from the perspective of Rav Nachman of Breslov. Rabbi Kalmus mentions how the world Tzedaka comes from the word zedek (which means justice). When we practice this valuable attribute we bring bring positive justice to ourselves and justice to the World at large.

Several folks have already proactively made donations to help those in Israel affected by the War – who need food, medical services, food and other items for Israeli soldiers, and items to support religious activities/services.
With some of the donations we received – we just went to the grocery store today to buy some food supplies and ingredients that are being sent to the South of Israel where folks then use them to cook food that is being delivered to Israeli soldiers on the front lines. Here is a picture of some of the food items and a receipt for the shopping trip.
Please note: 100% of all donations go right to the recipients – there is no overhead. This is done on a volunteer basis only.

Rabbi David Kaplan – Shares the daily question of choosing life and planning on doing mitzvot resulting in a happy fufilled life. Do the job consistently and do YOUR job (not someone else’s job). Also, find the answer of what is better to give $1,000 tzedaka to one person or $1 tzedaka to 1,000 people. Hint – who is the mitzvah for – for the receiver or the giver (therein lies the answer).
Rabbi Avraham Arieh Trugman – Shares some details of the next few weekly parshiot leading up to Rosh Hashana and how this can help us prepare for the new year in a way that benefits us more than just it popping up on us.
And, in the upcoming Torah Parasha of the week (Re’eh) – a “numerical gem” about a public charitable fund (tzedakah).
The first video focuses on a commonly discussed topic, Tzedaka (Charity). It’s always good to get several different viewpoints to learn the various aspects of this important mitzvah.
The second video focuses on the Sfira (the current daily counting period we are currently in between Pesach and Shavuot) and what the Jews are trying to rectify during this time period.

Rebbetzin Tziporah Heller – Explains the how, who, what, and where of how to give tzedakah (charity) according to Jewish law and how this gives you the most bang for your (charity) buck.
Rabbi Asher Baruch Wegbreit – Shares how important Tzedaka (Charity) is and the power it has to change your life right now. The opportunity is now during the month of Elul right before Rosh Hashanah. Join the fun – its never to late to start today!
Personal Thoughts – The challenge for me is to be patient enough to realize the joy of Tzedaka being great than the joy of holding on to the money for other “more important” things. Have faith – give more!
Rabbi Alon Anava – The Rabbi compares the mercy we get in the month of Elul to the mother’s womb and the birthing benefits this month can give us when we take advantage of it. Also, the power of tzedakah (charity) during this month and it’s affect on this Rosh Hashanah.
Rabbi Yosef Mizrachi – Shares with us strong Mussar (ethics) on how we need to take responsibility for our own actions and look deep inside at our part in the current situation and stop looking at outside things for excuses about why current events are happening. Everything is in the hands of Hashem – the outside influences are just His tools to send us a message to do tshuva. Just like we say on Rosh Hashanah doing tshuva means – learning Torah, doing kind deeds/tzedakah, and prayer.
