נדב ואביהוא נכנסים אל קודש הקודשים?

בעיצומם של הרגעים המשמחים בשל חנוכת המשכן נמהלה טרגדיה: נדב ואביהוא, שני בני אהרן, לקחו מחתה והניחו בה קטורת. הם הקריבו את הקטורת לפני בורא העולם למרות שלא הצטוו לעשות זאת.
האש שיצאה מן השמים הרגה את נדב ואביהוא כעונש על מעשיהם.
משה ביקש לנחם את אחיו. “מיתתם של בניך מראים כי הם היו בדרגה רוחנית גבוהה” הוא אמר לו, “שכן האלוקים אמר ששמו יתקדש דווקא באמצעות הענשת הקרובים אליו – ‘בקרובי אקדש.'” אהרן לא השיב למשה על דברי ניחומיו ולא כלום.

Rabbi Dovid Orlofsky – Starts a new series on how the days of Pesach parallel the other Jewish Holidays on the calendar using the ATBASH gematria (Jewish numerology). For example, the first day of Pesach is the first Hebrew letter Aleph which corresponds to the last Hebrew letter Taf. Aleph = Pesach, Taf = Tisha B’Av, which both happen to occur on the same day (this year Monday night). There are several other interesting stories and anecdotes strewn throughout as well, including Q&A at the end for current relevant topics (ie. how to exercise self-control).

פרשת צו פותחת בדרך ההקרבה של קרבן עולה, קרבן שלמים וקרבן המנחה. הקב”ה ממשיך ומצווה את משה רבנו על המנחות אותן יקריבו אהרן ובניו ביום שבו יימשחו לכהנים. לאחר מכן מפורטות ההלכות של הקרבת קרבן חטאת, קרבן אשם וזבח השלמים, ממנו אסור להשאיר אף חלק כלל.
