Challenges are opportunities for success

Rabbi Moshe Pinto – Shares with us the why of challenge and struggle prior to the good that comes from it. This is extenuated greatly now because we are in Shnat Shmittah (the 7th or Sabbatical Year) on the Jewish calendar. Rabbi Pinto explains that the negative struggle is actually the vessel for the good that comes from it and without it there would be no borders for the good to exist. Very in depth and detailed explanation that brings awareness to this apparent dichotomy of good and bad, struggle and redemption.

Every Descent is for the Sake of Ascent

Rabbi David Yisrael Kalmus – Great video about how we can access and release and divine sparks that are trapped via prayer, saying blessings, and helping another Jew. Rabbi Kalmus further explains how when you are called upon to help another Jew to run at the opportunity because it means your soul to attached to their soul and the divine sparks released benefit both (help others really means help yourself as well).

The secret how to end your challenges! Life is hard – why suffer?

Rabbi Alon Anava – Shares about how to deal with life on life’s terms without suffering and how to change your perspective to improve life’s outlook in general. A good dose of an attitude of gratitude is the overall theme of the video combined with a focus on the journey instead of destination thinking. I really enjoyed and felt empowered by this class.

It’s Forbidden to Get Old

Rabbi David Yisrael Kalmus – Shares about how reliance on nature and secular thought instead of on Hashem is the cause of all our suffering up until this very day. The story about Adam and Eve and the eating of the tree being the eating of nature and secular thought was the source of this suffering we experience today. The Rabbi explains the analogy of when we are an adult and we get a small cut on our hand it heals after a short period of time but when we get a cut as a baby we may have a scar for the rest of our life. This is the same as Adam and Eve’s original sin lasting as long as it has. Listen to the video to hear the entire back story.
