Rabbi Yitzchak Breitowitz – Shares how to we are preparing for Passover through the additional weekly Torah readings (called Parshiot).
Personal Thoughts – The Rabbi really had a nice way of presenting how we can work on our base character traits towards the service of Hashem (deconstructing and then reconstructing).
Rabbi Yitzchak Breitowitz – Shares how the extra portions read on the Shabbatot before Purim has deep meaning to ourselves individually and the Jewish People as a whole.
Personal Thoughts – I really liked his story towards the end of this shiur about the genius music conductor, Arturo Toscanini, and how important each musician was to his master works and how this is analogous to how important each one of us is to Hashem’s master symphony.
Rabbi Yitzchak Breitowitz shares many deep aspects of Chanukah and the way in which we celebrate it today.
Personal Thoughts: Towards the end of the video (starting at the 1:01:00 time mark), the Rabbi discusses the way we used to commemorate Chanukah (the military victory) closer to the actual miracle versus later on (and today of course) that we more commemorate the miracle of the oil. I find this transition very interesting – I hope you will too.
