Behar/Bechukotai – Growing Through Leviticus

Rabbi Trugman – Shares with us about the weekly (double) Torah portion (Behar/Bechukotai) and the freedom to not listen to those negative voices in our head.

Personal Thoughts – The Rabbi explains a lot about my own personal thinking and that it is okay to ignore it and pursue something new spiritually no matter how small as it could grow like a planted seed.

LH: Breaking The Night

Rabbi David Yisrael Kalmus – E-M-U-N-A-H! Everything come from Hashem …..because he loves us.

Personal Thoughts – The Rabbi reinforces past lessons on how to deal with life through the prism of emunah (instead of the common way through the prism of nature). This is a complete paradigm shift for society at large (and me personally). Not easy with eyes wide open.

Growing through Leviticus – Acharei Mot/Kedoshim

Rabbi Trugman – Shares with us about the weekly (double) Torah portion (Acharei Mot/Kedoshim).

Personal Thoughts – Interesting that the Hebrew word for Jewish Law is called “Halachah” which means “the way forward” and the book of Jewish Law is called the “Shulchan Aruch” which means “the set table”. Just two examples of the deeper (dual) meanings of common words in Judaism.
